HOMESTAY COST for TEFL participants: $110 per week, includes private room, breakfast, dinner and laundry service. (15% discount for all students who are also enrolled in the Spanish language course).

WHAT?
Qualified teacher trainer (formerly trainer for New World Teachers in San Francisco, California) from the United States with extensive international experience will take you through 100 hours of techniques for using the Communcative Approach (100% English immersion classroom) for both adults and young learners.
Come learn how to replace traditional translation methods with interactive, visual activities. Job placement and accommodations assistance provided.

Not only does a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate make you a more skilled and confident teacher, in many schools it is a requirement! El Puente English Institute offers the unique option of an intern scholarship, allowing you to gain hands on teaching and administrative experience right away.

The course is open to all native/profficient English speakers. A short grammar exam and essay are required of all participants
